Renee is a proud mom of two and a devoted dog mom to three. When she isn't helping with her children's activities or taking care of the pups, Renee uses her vast knowledge to help clients and providers at AMS Wellness. She started working in the behavioral health industry to make a meaningful difference in her community by helping people access the mental health care they deserve.

With a deep understanding of the complexities of insurance, Renee works tirelessly to help clients navigate the often-confusing billing process. She believes that financial and insurance barriers shouldn't stand in the way of receiving quality mental health care. By guiding providers and clients through the insurance maze with clarity, compassion, and expertise, Renee helps make the path to care a little easier for everyone she serves.

Joe Downs is a diagnostic support staff member. As staff member, his work focuses on helping diagnostic students develop their skills in testing services. In addition, he provides support in ADOS testing. Prior to AMS Wellness, Joe earned his B.S. in Statistics & Data Science from Yale University and had a career in the technology sector.
Outside of his professional life, Joe enjoys playing guitar and singing, running, cooking, and yoga. As a practicing Buddhist, he believes that everyone contains within them the capacity to flourish and lead full, embodied lives.
