Training Department

AMS Wellness prides themselves in their training department that offers a broad private practice experience for their student trainees. AMS is proud to be a training site for Master's Interns, Diagnostic Practicum Students, Therapy Practicum Students, Advanced Therapy Students, and Doctoral Interns (beginning July 2025).

Program Disclosure for Doctoral Intern Candidates (2025-2026):

AMS Wellness is a full APPIC member, and AMS Wellness has submitted a self-study for APA accreditation.

However, until then, we do follow APPIC and APA expectations and requirements.

Doctoral Internship

We are now accepting two students from an APA-accredited school for the 2025-2026 internship year. Applicants must have completed academic coursework within a degree-granting clinical or counseling program in professional psychology.

Pre-Doctoral Externship and Master's Internship

The new practicum externship and master's internship positions have been filled for the year 2025-2026.

1) Completed APPIC Application for Psychology Internship (AAPI) Parts 1 and 2. We will need their verification of readiness for internship.

4) Transcript of academic records for all graduate work

5) 3 Letters of Recommendation

6) De-identified Diagnostic Report
