AMS Wellness prides themselves in their training department that offers a broad private practice experience for their student trainees. AMS is proud to be a training site for Master's Interns, Diagnostic Practicum Students, Therapy Practicum Students, Advanced Therapy Students, and Doctoral Interns (beginning July 2025).
Program Disclosure for Doctoral Intern Candidates (2025-2026):
AMS Wellness is not an APPIC member or APA accredited internship. AMS is required to have two interns during the 2025-2026 internship year to apply for full membership under APPIC. Our priority is to receive APPIC membership and APA accreditation. We are in the process of applying for an APPIC full membership and APA accreditation.
However, until then, we do follow APPIC and APA expectations and requirements.

1) Completed APPIC Application for Psychology Internship (AAPI) Parts 1 and 2. We will need their verification of readiness for internship.

4) Transcript of academic records for all graduate work
5) 3 Letters of Recommendation
6) De-identified Diagnostic Report
