AMS Wellness prides themselves in their training department that offers a broad private practice experience for their student trainees. AMS is proud to be a training site for Master's Interns, Diagnostic Practicum Students, Therapy Practicum Students, Advanced Therapy Students, and Doctoral Interns (beginning July 2025).

Program Disclosure for Doctoral Intern Candidates (2025-2026):
AMS Wellness submitted an application and awaiting APPIC membership decision, and AMS Wellness has submitted a self-study for APA accreditation. Our priority is to receive an APPIC membership and APA accreditation; however, there is no guarantee that said membership and accreditation will be received.
However, until then, we do follow APPIC and APA expectations and requirements.

For Doctoral Intern Applicants, we require:

1) Completed APPIC Application for Psychology Internship (AAPI) Parts 1 and 2. We will need their verification of readiness for internship.
2) Cover Letter
3) CV
4) Transcript of academic records for all graduate work
5) 3 Letters of Recommendation
6) De-identified Diagnostic Report
